About the Role
As a Hospitalist at AdventHealth Gordon, you will provide comprehensive, high-quality care to hospitalized patients while working alongside a multidisciplinary team. This role emphasizes teamwork, clinical excellence, and compassionate care in a supportive setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient medical care, including admissions, daily rounding, and discharges
- APP Support
- Collaborate closely with specialists, nursing staff, and case management
- Deliver patient-centered, evidence-based care
- Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
- Ensure timely, accurate documentation in the EMR
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine (with hospitalist experience preferred)
- Eligible for or currently holding a Georgia medical license
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills
