AdventHealth Georgia is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) Physician to join our growing inpatient rehabilitation team. This is an excellent opportunity to practice in a collaborative, mission-driven environment focused on helping patients regain function, maximize independence, and achieve their highest quality of life. As a member of our inpatient rehabilitation program, you will work alongside a multidisciplinary team providing comprehensive care to patients recovering from stroke, neurologic disorders, orthopedic conditions, traumatic injuries, and medical debility.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide medical management of inpatient rehabilitation patients
- Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and ongoing assessments
- Lead and collaborate with interdisciplinary rehabilitation teams, including therapists, nursing staff, case managers, and specialists
- Perform daily patient rounding and oversee rehabilitation treatment plans
- Coordinate discharge planning and transitions of care
- Develop individualized care plans focused on functional recovery and patient-centered outcomes
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and program development
Job Requirements
- MD or DO degree
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) or related specialty
- Fellowship training in Interventional Pain Medicine preferred (or equivalent procedural experience)
- Eligible for or active Georgia medical license
- DEA license (or ability to obtain)
- Experience in both inpatient rehab and outpatient interventional pain settings (preferred)
- Commitment to patient-centered, team-based care
