ABOUT THE FACILITY

As part of the AdventHealth system, we are conveniently located in Northwest Georgia, directly between Atlanta and Chattanooga, TN. AdventHealth Georgia is home to some of the best physicians in the area with a variety of specialties, including inpatient and outpatient acute care, a state-of-the-art surgery department, cardiology, stroke program, an accredited wound care program, cancer care, full-service orthopedic and sports medicine care, and home care. Requirements

• Advanced Practice Provider – Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant – Licensed in Georgia
• Eligible to be state licensed in the U.S.

Duties

• Acts as the primary physician extender
• Provide medical treatment under the supervision of the physician
• Conduct patient examinations and follow-ups, provide treatment plan
• Inpatient Rounding
• Will work with complex surgical patients both pre and post operatively
• Obtains and dictates history and physical, progress notes, and discharge summaries to document care given to patient
• Ensures all pertinent data in patient charts are counter-signed by the supervising physician
• Coordinates advanced diagnostic and therapeutic patient care procedures by assisting with the technical and medical aspects of simulation and treatment planning
• Other duties as assigned
