AdventHealth Medical Group in Northwest Georgia is looking for a dedicated, energetic full-time Electrophysiologist as the second partner in a busy, thriving, and highly regarded Cardiology group. This opportunity would grow and expand our services into a new location, as well as partner with our established and well-respected team. We are located approximately one hour from Atlanta & Chattanooga, TN, which is an ideal location.

We have a dedicated EP lab with a highly skilled and supportive team. We also have dedicated practice APP's and a shared, reasonable call coverage model. We are located in a wonderful community that provides for a terrific atmosphere both professionally and personally.

The Role:

The Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) is a professional nurse licensed in Georgia to function in an expanded role to provide primary health care to individuals, families or groups. The Certified Nurse Midwife functions in a collegial relationship with physicians and other health professionals in the delivery of primary health care services. They are able to make independent decisions with physicians in carrying out health regimens for families and clients. The Certified Nurse Midwife is directly accountable and responsible to the patient.

  • Leads in the continuing adoption of evidence-based medicine by the employed medical staff and the protocols that come with an evidence-based model approach
  • Provides counsel and physician perspective at senior leadership discussions and action plans related to business growth, service expansions/changes, improvements, new service offerings inclusive of all operational and strategy decisions
  • Serves as a clinical leader to the employed medical staff providing guidance in appropriate levels of care for patients, efficient utilization of resources, and enforcing compliance with laws and organizational policies
  • Develops and recommends standard clinical quality metrics and measures for primary care and specialty practices and clinical initiatives at Market Hospitals related to employed physicians
  • Utilizes performance improvement measurements to continually implement practice/protocols that enhance clinical quality standards and to establish top quartile performance of reported measures
  • Works with the employed medical staff and applicable departments or leaders to provide cost effective solutions for various medical equipment without compromising patient safety
  • Works with medical staff to obtain appropriate documentation and assist with clinical interpretation necessary to ensure appropriate payment for services rendered are received and third-party payer denials are minimized
  • Actively leads in physician recruitment and retention strategies and activities
  • Promote and monitor Physician compliance with patient satisfaction metrics and additional quality measures
  • Define and develop standards for new Physician orientation and assist in ongoing Physician development
  • Develop, promote and assist in enforcing company and Market Hospital policies, procedures and programs to ensure best patient care standards and efficient use of resources, including supplies and personnel
  • Promote collegiality and cooperation among Market Hospital medical staff members, administration and Physicians
  • Continually enhances medical knowledge through a regular program of reading, research, seminar attendance, and active membership in professional associations
  • Attends and adds value at applicable meetings by providing counsel and relaying a physician perspective
  • Representative of the organization to the external market, as well as, building community relationships

We have an exciting opportunity to help expand an already established practice with AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG) Oncology & Hematology located in Rome, Georgia (about an hour Northwest of the Atlanta area). The practice is looking for a team-oriented, fellowship-trained hematologist oncologist to join our group, which is part of a large referral network.

This opportunity would provide inpatient and outpatient services seeing a wide variety of hematology and oncology patients with our team at AdventHealth Redmond, which is a 230-bed, full-service hospital located in beautiful Rome, Georgia with partnership from the oncology group at AdventHealth Gordon (69 beds) located in Calhoun, Georgia. The ideal candidate will have experience with practice building in a new market and seeing a variety of hematologic malignancies and solid tumor patients.

Job Description
AdventHealth Redmond is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Advanced Practice Provider (PA or APRN) to join our dynamic Critical Care Unit team. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to an innovative, mission-driven healthcare organization and make a meaningful impact on patient care.

Position Overview
As an APP in our Critical Care Unit, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care during night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) on a 7-on/7-off schedule, offering exceptional work-life balance. You will collaborate closely with colleagues to ensure continuous coverage and optimal patient outcomes. This role involves managing a broad range of critical care cases and performing advanced procedures within your credentialed scope.

Responsibilities
• Provide expert-level patient care in the Critical Care Unit with remote supervision by an Intensivist.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and hospital leadership to ensure seamless patient management and continuity of care.
• Perform advanced procedures such as chest tube placement, thoracentesis, needle thoracostomy, intubation, lumbar punctures, central and arterial line placement, and other procedures as credentialed.
• Demonstrate strong clinical judgment and proficiency in managing complex critical care cases.

AdventHealth Gordon is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our thriving Otolaryngology (ENT) practice in Calhoun, Georgia. The ENT APP will provide comprehensive outpatient care to patients across the lifespan, supporting our ENT physicians through clinic visits, evaluation, treatment, and ongoing management of otolaryngologic conditions.
